Anyone for cupcake?


Decided to make cupcakes instead of muffins tonight!  I tried turning the temperature down from 180 C to 160 C to prevent 'cone shaped' cakes and it seemed to do the trick, but they still didn't turn out quite as light and fluffy as my usual cakes baked in a conventional oven - they're still very nice though!  Guess I'll have to get used to fan assisted ... but I'm NOT liking it!  Far prefer old fashioned conventional ovens.  You canny beat them!   What do you think?
