We're fortunate to have several book clubs at work and there's always a good cookery book (or two) for sale at a reasonable price between them... I treated myself to the 2 books in the photo above this week and hope to try out some recipes over the next couple of weeks (or sooner if I get a mo)! It's going to be a challenge however as I don't have a conventional oven any longer (just fan assisted) and in my mind, fan assisted ovens aren't as good as conventional ovens when it comes to baking (why did I not think of this when we purchased our present oven)?
Does anyone out there enjoy using fan assisted ovens? What are your experiences of such when it comes to baking? Anyone else like myself and prefer conventional?
Tip: It's best to reduce the temperature by 20C when baking using a FAO!
